Very intense tobacco hit on initial spray, but dries down to a smokey fresh soapy scent which is really nice!! I dont really like smokey/tobacco scents but this one is a surprise hit for me (got it for my partner).

Picked this Up because I heard a lot of hype about the Byredo range. Definitely a unisex fragrance but it's really pleasant and not too feminine. Very spicy and fruity and fresh. Could be a signature scent for me this winter. Good job!
Love that it's a bit different. Top note is fresh, heart and base notes are longer lasting.
I haven't bought designer fragrances since finding out the majority are tested on animals. Discovering Whif has been such a find. Now I can wear the gorgeous scents I have heard about, without the cruelty, and also without the big price! My husband and I both wear Desert Jasmine, which has a beautiful balance of floral and spice.

I just have to buy the 50 mL bottle as soon as i have finished the 10 mL one. I was complimented multiple times at work. Everyone saying the same thing, i smell “fresh, clean and expensive”. Definitely my sugnature fragrance now.

Smell like the original, about 90% nailed it.
I bought this one in a smaller size as I was a touch skeptical…inspired by is nice but attempting to smell similar to the original I knew would be a near impossible task. It’s still a lovely fragrance in its own right but ain’t nothing going to replace the original for me in this instance, although it still a really nice fragrance in its own right it’s got more of powdery finish as it dries down.
Such a fresh scent and very close to the real one. I get so many compliments using this perfume. Definitely buying the bigger bottle!

FINALLY! Yes! I have looked for a few years now for a perfume that smelled like a 'certain' fragrance that costs far far too much in my opinion. Whif. has done it. This is as close to that 'certain' fragrance that I have ever found and at a far more affordable price and your in QLD! YAY! I have about 3/4 fragrances by Byredo. I’ve never purchased the full perfume inspired by Desert Jasmine, Bal D’Afrique due to the issues with the longevity. I have a decant instead, and tested it side by side. They are about 95% similar - the only difference is this one lasts much longer! I’m so impressed by the quality I’ve decided I’ll be buying more from Whif.

I was unsure how this might last and how similar it is - it is spot on with good stay on the skin and is beautifully packaged.
As a huge fan of the original 'Byredo Bal D'Afrique' fragrance which inspired this one, I was keen to try 'Desert Jasmine' – and thrilled to find that its probably one of the more successful inspirations of the original, authentic product. 'Desert Jasmine' picks up more of the heady floral/woody notes, and displays less bright citrus notes of the original – but this is a lasting and impressive fragrance blend. Plus at the Whiff price point, it allows me to be liberal with spraying my favourite fragrance inspo everywhere, including bedding, rooms, clothes. It's not an over powering scent, and remains light, but lasts and has a unique fragrance signature. Purchased 2 bottles so far, and will re-order.
Love this! I bought a small bottle to test and it’s exactly like the original—the scent lasts so long. I’ve since purchased both the larger bottle and another small one as it’s super handy to keep in my work bag.
